1373. 🇦🇺 Childrens' Book Writers Are Australia Post's 2019 Australian Legends.

  🇦🇺 Australia Post issued a set of 5 gummed stamps and 5 self-adhesive stamps (each sold in a different booklet containing 10 stamps) on 17 January 2019 as this year's 'Australian Legends' set. The issue was designed by Jo Muré and features notable Australian authors of books for children. I assume that the depicted individuals are more well known locally than they are internationally. The set of gummed stamps costs $5 and the booklets cost $50 while anyone wishing to buy the accompanying 'cheque book' booklets will no doubt be delighted to pay the $1000 required to meet the total cost of those particular items.
