1376. ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ด Tonga Birds Of Prey Issue.

๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ด Depicted below are the 12 individual stamps issued by Philatelic Collector Inc. in the name of its client postal administration, Tonga Post, which are on the subject of 'Birds of Prey' (see Blog 1375). According to Wikipedia there are only 2 Birds of Prey to be found in Tonga - the barn owl and the swamp harrier, neither of which are featured on any of these stamps. The total face value is Tonga $52.85c which is equivalent to £17.68p and for those who must have one of everything there are sheetlets of all 12 values and 2 miniature sheets each of 6 different stamps giving a total face value for this one set of £53.04p. Given that there are 6 philatelic entities involved in these issues as described in Blog 1375 we may estimate that the total face value of these products amounts to about £300. Is there anyone out there daft enough to fall for this particular attempt to grab their money?

๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ณ The issue of 4 stamps mentioned in Blog 1363 from Bounty Post, the Pitcairn Islands postal service, which was issued on 12 December 2018 was designed by Denise Durkin from photographs by Lionel Gouverner of French Polynesia and lithographed by Southern Colour Print. Illustrations of the stamps can also be found in Blog 1363. Rating:- *****.
