What is a ‘Collector’s sheet’?ReplyDelete
Is this valid philatelic product?
Or just stamps _attached_ to a base with "labels"
It is a sheetlet containing stamps from a set with attached labels which have no postal validity. The ‘Collector’s sheets’ are usually sold at a premium price. They could£ be viewed as valid philatelic products.Delete
The stamps are valid for postage, the price is only marginally over face value, and older ones are incrasingly being used for discount postage so, yes they are a valid product in the same way that the miniature sheet and stamps are.Delete
