🇧🇼 Botswana Post issued 4 stamps on 5 June 2020 on the subject of the African Scops owl. More details and better quality illustrations are awaited but these are clearly very appealing stamps. Rating:- *****.
🇭🇰 Hong Kong Post will issue a miniature sheet containing a single stamp on 23 June 2020 as the 9th part of its ongoing ‘World Heritage in China’ series. The attractive design depicts the beautiful scenery of Qinghai Hoh Xil and includes an eagle and a Tibetan antelope in the design. The issue was designed by Eric Shum and lithographed by Enschedé and perforated 13.5. If only Hong Kong Post did not issue so many stamps and if the subject were more relevant to Hong Kong itself I would rate this item more highly. Rating:- **.
🇬🇧 The set of 8 stamps due for issue by Royal Mail on 18;June 2020 on the subject of Roman Britain is now available to order from the company’s Stamps and Collectables site. The issue was designed by Up and lithographed by International Security Printers and perforated 14.5 x 14. See Blog 1679.
