1630. 🇹🇹 Trinidad And Tobago’s Postal Service Commemorates Its 20th Anniversary.

🇹🇹 News about new stamp issues from TTPost, the postal service of Trinidad And Tobago, is always patchy even though stamps continue to appear in some numbers. More often that not I first become aware of a new issue from TTPost when I noticed a dealer offering a set of it for sale.
By this means I have become aware of a pair of stamps (or so it would appear) which were issued on 1 July 2019 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of TTPost. The designs include a depiction of TTPost Headquarters and a line of TTPost vans. It is a striking image and accompanies the inscription ’Celebrating our commitment to deliver quality service!’. I have only seen the $10 value on a first day cover so far. Rating:- ****.

🇲🇲 Myanmar Post issued a set of 3 stamps on 27 March 2020 to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Armed Forces Day. The issue was lithographed by Security Printing Works (Myanmar) and perforated 14. Rating:- ***.

🇿🇼 In Blog 1604 I mentioned that I had been told that ZimPost, the postal service of Zimbabwe, was due to release a set of stamps on the subject of the ‘Centenary of Civilisation in Zimbabwe’ which made no sense of course. Now I see that ZimPost has published a list of planned new stamp issues and the programme makes it clear that I must going deaf - for “civilisation” substitute “aviation”!

5 March 2020 - Centenary of aviation in Zimbabwe - 4 stamps and 1 miniature sheet.
16 April 2020 - 50th anniversary of Independence - 6 stamps
2 June 2020 - ‘Celebrating postal services in Zimbabwe” - 4 stamps and 1 miniature sheet
28 July 2020 - National heroes - 4 stamps
8 September 2020 - Musical instruments - 4 stamps and 1 miniature sheet
1 December 2020 - Christmas - 4 stamps.

As March 2020 draws to a close, here’s a list of Commonwealth countries/entities whose postal administrations or philatelic agents have not yet issued any new stamps during 2020 -

They don't even announce new issues to people that buy from them.
