🇲🇺 Mauritius Post issued a single stamp on 15 May 2019 to commemorate International Day Of Families. The design features what we must assume to be a standard Mauritian family of mother, father and 2 children which contrasts with a civic statue on prominent public display here in my home city of Birmingham which is described as depicting a typical Birmingham family of the present time - this statue depicts 2 women and 2 children and no man in sight. Stamp designers really must keep up with the times.
