1726. 🇸🇭 🇰🇮 Early Christmas Stamps From St Helena, Solar Energy From Kiribati

🇸🇭 The postal service of St Helena issued 4 early Christmas stamps on 1 September 2020. The designs are by a local artist, Anna Henry, who has a business on the island called The Art Box. This is a fine little set. I hope to see more of Miss Henry’s art featured on future St Helena issues - it would lend a style to the territory’s stamps. Rating:- ****.

🇰🇮 The first issue of 2020 from the postal service of Kiribati was released on 31 August and is on the subject of Solar power. The issue is made up of 4 stamps (25c, 50c, 70 c and $1.50) and 1 single stamp miniature sheet ($5). Illustrations of the 4 stamps are awaited but included here is an illustration of the miniature sheet. The issue was designed by Andrew Robinson using photographs taken by H and GA Bennett and was lithographed by Southern Colour Print:- ****.

🇲🇲 The postal service of Myanmar will release the 4th stamp in its ongoing series on the subject of the Art of various craftsmen on 4 September 2020. This stamp appears to feature the craft of the sculptor of monuments and statues. The stamp was designed by Shwe Yoe Yar and Thia Lwin and lithographed by Security Printer Myanmar and perforated 14. Rating:- *****.

🇭🇰 Hong Kong Post will issue a miniature sheet containing a single $10 stamp on the subject ‘Hong Kong International Legal Centre’. The item was designed by Clement Yick from an illustration by Wong Siu-kin and was lithographed by Cartor and perforated 14. Rating:- **.
