๐ณ๐ฟ New Zealand Post -
In addition to issues of the first part of 2023 already detailed in previous Blogs, New Zealand Post is planning to release the following -
5 April - Forest and birds centenary
3 May - Succession and coronation of King Charles III
7 June - Pacific languages week
5 July - Mid 20th century toys
5 July - 150th anniversary of the 1873 newspaper stamp
2 August - 20th anniversary of the movie, ‘Return of the King’ (yet another ‘Lord of The Rings’ issue)
6 September - Commemoration of the late Queen Elizabeth II
6 September - Waka Ama
4 October - Christmas
1 November - New Zealand pets
6 December - Chinese New Year, Year of the Dragon.
New Zealand Post continues to increase the number of issues it releases every year and it could be judged that its new issue programme is excessive and while not sinking as low as Royal Mail and Australia Post, the products coming from NZ Post must be viewed in that light.
