16 February 2023 - X Men, American comic characters. The full panoply of products on the subject of American comic characters has now been revealed. They are a clear philatelic celebration of the United Kingdom and things British as are so many stamp products released by Royal Mail in recent years and in the coming months.
The list of products includes 12 stamps (2 se-tenant strips of 6 different stamps - the 6 x 2nd Class domestic rate stamps were depicted in the previous Blog 2242 (there is also a setenant strip of 6 x 1st Class rate), 1 miniature sheet containing 5 different stamps, 1 ‘Collectors sheet’ containing the 12 different stamps with attached labels (£10.95), 2 ‘Fan sheets’ each respectively containing 4 each of the ‘Jean Grey’ or ‘Wolverine’ stamps (each sold for £7), 1 ‘Prestige booklet’ containing 5 panes, one of which includes 4 barcode Machin Head stamps (2 x 2nd and 2 x£1) costing £19.95 or £49.95 (deluxe limited edition version). Designed by Interabang from illustrations by Mike McKone and lithographed by Cartor and perforated 14.5. Rating:- 0.

I agree, complete garbage these issues. No wonder my British collection stops at 2016 and everything after 2007 is garbage anyway. Childrens stories and especially foreign ones have no place on stamps. Just think with the cost of those things, you could buy a nice 1880 2/- fine used.
