🇵🇰 Pakistan Post -

21 August 2024 - 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Egypt, Joint issue - 1 stamp. Design “supplied by the customer” and lithographed by National Security Printing Company Karachi and perforated 13. Rating:- ****.

The Egyptian part of the joint issue was released on 14 August 2024 and took the form of a single stamp -

🇺🇸 Intergovernmental Philatelic Corporation (IGPC) -

This USA-based agency has now featured on its internet site the joint issues by 6 Commonwealth Caribbean states to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Eastern Caribbean Community Bank (ECCB). No illustrations are yet available but each postal service has released 2 miniature sheets, one sheet containing 2 different stamps and the other, presumably, a single stamp.

The stamps of all 6 territories are stated to have been issued on 19 July 2024.

2200. 🇬🇧 Carter’s Discovery Of The Tomb Of Tutankhamun.

🇬🇧 Royal Mail - 

24 November 2022 - Centenary of the discovery of the tomb of the Pharaoh Tutankhamun in Egypt by the English archaeologist Howard Carter  - 8 stamps, 1 miniature sheet containing 4 different stamps and I Prestige booklet made up from 4 panes including one pane of 5 Machin Head with barcode stamps sold for £21.95p. Designed by Andy Altman and lithographed by  Cartor and perforated 14 x 14.5. Rating:- ****** (six stars! - a superb collection of designs on a subject of major historical importance commemorating the achievement of an important Briton). I assume this is also an historically notable issue as I expect it will be the last to feature the cameo of the late Queen Elizabeth II. This was certainly a case of leaving the best till last.
