17 September 2026 - 45th anniversary of the release of the first studio album by veteran popular music group, Duran Duran - 8 stamps issued in 2 se-tenant strips of 4.
News of other items such as a miniature sheet containing 4 different stamps, a ‘Collectors sheet’, ‘Fan sheets’ and other items is awaited. These illustrations are taken from a video on the Heptonstall Post Office and village Facebook page which often posts previews of Royal Mail new issues.
This music group is named after the villain, Durand Durand played by Milo O’Shea, in the 1960s movie Barbarella which starred Jane Fonda in the title role. Better quality illustrations and more information will be posted when available. Rating:- *.

1 September 2026 - Reprint of 2011 Chinese NewYear 15c stamp initially issued as part of a ‘zodiac sheet’ by McKellar Renown which no longer issues stamps. This item was reported by Ubobo R.O. on Stampboards and is presently an item of discussion. The fact that it is printed by a new printer means that it may be considered to be a new stamp. This stamp is a make-up value between the old and new postage rates. Rating:- ****.
