1971.๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿ‡ฐ Special Flowers of Hong Kong.

 









  ๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿ‡ฐ Hong Kong Post will issue a very attractive and stylistically interesting set of 6 stamps and 1 miniature sheet containing all 6 stamps onn16 November 2021 on the subject of Flowers (“Hong Kong special flora”). This excellent issue was designed by Chau so-Hing and lithographed by Cartor and the stamps are perforated 13.5. Rating:- *****.





























  ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ฎ Royal Gibraltar Post Office issued a set of 6 stamps all depicting Father Christmas and a miniature sheet containing all 6 stamps on 2 November 2021 to celebrate Christmas. The designs by Stephen Perera  pfrom illustrations by ingimage.com are rather clichรฉd but cheerful enough. The issue was lithographed by Cartor. Rating:- **.























๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡น MaltaPost issued a miniature sheet containing a single stamp on 1 November 2021 to commemorate the Centenary of the Maltese Senate which was established as part of the process of achieving self-government for the island in 1921. This historic anniversary is commemorated by an attractive issue. The item was designed by MaltaPost plc. Rating:- ****.











๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง The designs of the 2021 Christmas stamps from Royal Mail have been illustrated in a previous Blog but I now illustrate them again in better quality illustrations along with the other items that make up the issue which was released on 2 November 2021. The issue is therefore made up of 8 stamps (4 with and 4 without barcode) (total set face value being £9.52), 2 stamps from individual booklets of 12, 1 miniature sheet (£9.52) and 1 Collectors sheet (priced at £21.75p) containing 20 stamps with attached labels. The issue was designed by Supple Studio and printed in photogravure by International Security Printers. The barcoded stamps are perforated 15 x 14.5 while the nonbarcoded stamps are perforated 14.5 x 15. Rating:- ****.






























































































































  Royal Mail will also issue another Collectors sheet on 8 December 2021 to commemorate the Chinese New Year, this time the Year of the Tiger. The sheet contains 20 Fireworks greetings stamps with attached labels designed by Rebecca Sutherland. The price of this item is £18.20p.
