1881. ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฟ New Definitives From New Zealand.

๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฟ New Zealand Post will issue 5 new ‘Scenery’ definitive stamps on 2 June 2021 in the form of 3 designs all issued as gummed stamps and the 2 lower values also being issued in self-adhesive format in booklets of five. An attractive issue. Rating:- ***.

๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฐ There appear to have been 3 new surcharges from the postal service of the Cook Islands which I do not think I have seen reported before. The surcharges have been carried out on three values of WWF Bristle-thighed curlew issue originally issued on 31 October 2017. I do not presently know the date of issue of the surcharges. Rating:- ***.

๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฌ Singapore Post will issue 2 stamps on 28 May 2021 as part of a joint issue with the postal service of Portugal. The designs are best described as abstract and also somewhat psychedelic and I personally feel very little enthusiasm for them. Rating:- *.

  1. I think Cook Islands overprints are fakes, made in an attempt to sell same old WWF stamps again, since WWF is a very popular collector's theme. Just check that auction site for recent years WWF stamps and you will find tons and tons new "overprinted" WWF stamps from the whole range of countries in a whole range of formats - 4-stamps minisheets, 8-stamps sheetlets, 16-stamps sheets. And they are offered in two different overprint colors - red and blue, could you imagine.
P.S. sorry for vulgar nickname, it was made for another blog

    1. These stamps are on the latest new issue list of the respectable US dealer Bombay stamps and I am inclined to think that these particular items are genuine.

  2. All the other overprints are made by Stamperija, so are not fake. WWF is indeed a cash cow for these agencies.

it means those stamps are not real
and those overprints are made not because of postal need
