29 November 2024 - 50th anniversary of the discovery of the terracotta warriors at Xian in Chinese- 1 miniature sheet containing 4 different stamps. Designed by Dr Redwan Al-Karim Bhuiyan and lithographed by Brebner Print. Rating:- **.

15 August 2025 - The history of ship building in Jersey - 6 stamps and 1 miniature sheet containing all 6 stamps. Designed by Martin Mörck and lithographed by bpost. Some nice stamps but issued for no obvious reason as part of an excessive new issue programme. Rating:- *.

I have incomplete information on some new issues from different sources. Thanks to Gene of Colnect for information about the Jamaican issues and the Kiribati stamps are featured at the head of the Spectre of Stamps shop page on the E Bay internet auction site.

3 March 2025 - Butterflies, moths, plants and birds of Jamaica - 1 sheetlet containing 16 different stamps. Designed by Leanne Sherliker and lithographed by Brebner Print and perforated 14.5. Rating:- *****.

2025 - ?August - 80th anniversary of Allied victory in the Pacific area at the end of the Second World War,VJ Day - at least 3 previously issued stamps overprinted with the text “15 AUGUST 2025/VJDAY 80th”. Rating:- ****.

Maldives Post -

25 July 2025 - 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between India and Maldives, Joint issue, local boats - 2 stamps and 1 miniature sheet (see Blog 2758). Kennethsequera has posted an illustration of the Maldives contribution to the joint issue on Stampboards.

🇵🇰 Pakistan Post -

5 August 2025 - “Condemning revocation of Article 370/34A on 5 August 2019 India Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) - 1 stamp. Designed “supplied by the customer” (presumably the Pakistani government) and lithographed by National Security Printing Company Karachi. Rating:- **.

It seems that the governments of India and Pakistan are mainly playing out the eternal conflict between them through their postage stamps which when you think about, is not such a bad thing- at least no-one gets hurt through philatelic warfare.

Pakistan Post put out a pamphlet explaining this issue and I reproduce it below -
