26 September 2024 - ‘Imagine Ireland’, images created by Artificial Intelligence in which “artist Kasia Osmín used AI technology to explore the intersection of traditional and modern lifestyles, envisioning new possibilities for urban and rural settlements ” - 2 self-adhesive stamps sold in booklets of 8 (domestic rate) or 4 (international rate) and 2 booklets sold for €9 each, each containing a single ‘cryptostamp’, one with the domestic rate face value and the other with the international rate. Lithographed by Enschedé. The hilarious description of the product on An Post’s internet site also states, “The generative art used in this project allows for a creative imagining of housing and transport, blending the familiar with the fantastical to suggest new ways of living in harmony with Ireland’s natural resources”.

1 October 2024 - New £2.80 King Charles III Barcode definitive stamp necessitated by revised international postal rate. Photogravure by Cartor. Perforated 15 x 14.5. The postal rate change will come into effect on 7 October 2024. The stamp’s colour is described somewhat imaginatively as ‘slate blue’. Rating:- ***.
