๐ฆ๐บ Australia Post -
September 2024 - Australia Post which has long been reasonably described as “philatelically incontinent” is now issuing stamps to commemorate the country’s Paralympics gold medal winners. So far the Australian team has won 18 gold medals. The stamps, which I assume are self-adhesive are being produced in ‘sheetlets’ of 5 and sold for $7.50 but they are only sold on the internet site as a minimum of 2 sheetlets, hence to obtain one stamp, the collector must buy 10 at $15. Therefore if there are to be 18 different sheetlets the cost of buying them from Australia Post amounts to A$270.
The first 4 stamps, which are described as ‘My Stamps’ commemorate -
Thomas Gallagher, Para swimming Men’s 50m Freestyle S10 -
Korey Boddington, Para-cylcling Track C4-5 1000 Metres Time Trial -
Emily Petricola, Para-cycling Track C4 3000 Metres Individual Pursuit-
Amanda Reid, Para-cycling Track C1-3 500 Metre Time Trial -
๐ต๐ฐ Pakistan Post -
30 August 2024 - 75th anniversary of the Pakistan Stock Exchange - 1 stamp. Lithographed by National Security Printing Company,Karachi. Design “supplied by the customer”. Rating:- **.
I suspect they are calling these stamps 'MyStamps' so they technically are not part of the philatelic program. However they are not like the regular MyStamps, and like the Ukraine issue I suspect these will be listed by catalogues.
