  1. £4.85 for a Jersey stamp is a small fortune.

  2. £21.04 for the set plus miniature sheet.
    It's getting worse every year.
Imagine an average issue in 2030. £30+?

  3. The Jersey Sea Life set is £17.91 - still incredibly expensive.

Though to be fair to Jersey Post, the values on the Sea Life stamps do reflect the new postal rates that start on 8 January 2024.
60p is local letter rate (up to 100g) (unchanged)
98p is UK rate (up to 100g) (unchanged)
£1.65 is a large letter (up to 100g) to the UK (unchanged)
£2.15 is the new European letter rate (up to 100g) (up 30p)
£2.95 is the new Rest of World rate (up to 100g) (up 40p)
£3.75 is a large letter to Europe (up to 100g) (up 50p)
£4.85 is a large letter to Rest of World (up to 100g) (up 65p)

Perhaps they didn't need to include stamps for all the rates that weren't increasing - that would've reduced the overall cost.

  4. The Guernsey pictorial Post and Go stamps, especially those depicting local landmarks are attractive. If only Royal Mail had adapted some of their stamp issues for P&G/SSK, like Ireland, France, Spain etc. (Ian/Norvic)
