5 May 2022 - ‘Unsung’ women heroes of the Second World War - the role of women during World War II. Although this issue does not seem to be related, as far as I can see, to any particular event or anniversary the release of these stamps may be more timely than Royal Mail could ever have foreseen given the way women of all ages are victims once more of another terrible war - Putin’s vicious and criminal assault on Ukraine - 10 stamps, 1 miniature sheet containing 4 different stamps and 1 prestige booklet made up of 4 panes one of which contains 2 x 50p and 3 x £1 bar coded Machin Head definitives (sold for £20.75p). Lithographed by International Security Printers and perforated 14.5 x 14. Rating:- ***.

21 May 2022 - EUROPA, Myths and stories, Guernsey witches - 6 stamps and 1 miniature sheet (see Blog 2064) - all 6 stamps and the miniature sheet containing the 2 EUROPA stamps are now illustrated below.
According to my RM 1st magazine the PSB definitive pane is self adhesive .
