  🇲🇹 MaltaPost issued two stamps and 1 booklet containing 5 x 59c stamps on 9 May 2021 on the subject of endangered local wildlife as its contribution to the 2021 EUROPA omnibus issue. The stamps were designed from photography by Sean Cini and lithographed by Printex and are perforated 14. It is pleasing to see more unusual types of wildlife depicted - amphibians and reptiles in this case. Rating:- *****.

🇬🇬 Guernsey Post will issue a set of 6 stamps on 10 June 2021 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the designation of Sark as a Dark Sky Island, the first in the world. This title has led to an increase in visitors to the island serving as a boost to Guernsey’s important tourist industry. An attractive and worthwhile set. Rating:- *****.

   Guernsey Post will also release a cheerful set of 3 stamps on the subject of ‘Postcrossing’ on 10 June 2021. A colourful and amusing little set featuring a Guernsey golden goat, a crab and a puffin as well as other design features which would appeal to thematic collectors including a fishing vessel and a yacht, postboxes and agriculture. 1688. 🇦🇺 Upcoming Australia Post Issues.

🇦🇺 In Blog 1697 I mentioned that Australia Post has released another long list of new issues for the upcoming two months. Here are the details:-

14 July 2020 - inscribed Norfolk Island Australia - ‘Ocean oddities’ - 2 stamps and 1 miniature sheet. Designed by Jo Muré from illustrations by Dr Lindsay Marshall and lithographed by RA Printing and perforated 14.5 x 14. Rating:- ****.

27 July 2020 - The Australian Alps - 3 gummed stamps, 3 self-adhesive stamps from coils (sold in rolls of 100 of which there are said to have been only 4000 produced (a so-called limited edition) which actually ensures that there are 133333 sets available - that ought to be quite enough to go around) and 1 miniature sheet. Designed by Sharon Rodziewicz and lithographed by RA Printing and perforated 14 x 14.5. Rating;- *.

4 August 2020 - Stamp Collecting Month, Wildlife recovery after 2019 fires - 6 gummed stamps and 1 miniature sheet and 5 self-adhesive stamps from booklets. Designed by Jo Muré and lithographed by EGO and perforated 14 x 14.5. Rating;- ***.

11 August 2020 - Centenary of the Princes Highway - 4 gummed stamps. Designed by Jo Muré and lithographed by EGO and perforated 14. Rating:- ***.

17 August 2020 - Opalised fossils - 4 gummed stamps, 1 miniature sheet and 4 self-adhesive stamps from booklets (booklets of ($11) and 20 ($22). Designed by Simone Sakinofsky and lithographed by RA Printing and perforated 14 x 14.5. Rating:- *.

17 August 2020 - inscribed Christmas Island Australia - Crabs - 4 gummed stamps containing all 4 stamps. Designed by Anita Xhafer, Simone Sakinofsky and Jo Muré and lithographed by RA Printing and perforated 14 x 14.5. Rating:- ***.

  IIt does not seem that there are any new My Stamps packs this time. Perhaps the Coronavirus pandemic has made it difficult to produce such additional items. I doubt that any serious collectors will miss them.
