Note -  Anonymous has kindly & correctly identified that these are not new issues and are actually first mentioned in Blogs 830 and 1038. I apologise for mistakenly thinking that therse are new issues. There are so many surcharges from Malawi currently on the market that it’s rather difficult to keep up with them & to recall items issued 10 years ago. I leave the post in place as it emphasises just how long we have been encountering these surcharged issues from Malawi as well as other countries such as Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Zambia, Samoa and Trinidad and Tobago.
