🇯🇪 Jersey Post -
2 May 2025 - Post and Go stamps, 80th anniversary of the Liberation from German occupation - 1 x Union Flag stamp with additional inscription in various values dispensed from machine JE03 in Broad Street post office. Rating:- ***.
🇬🇧 Coronation portraits.
The coronation portraits of King Charles III and Queen Camilla have been shown at the National Gallery and are of interest because at some time or the other they may well appear as part of a stamp design of one of the Commonwealth postal administrations. The portrait of the King was painted by Peter Kuhfeld and depicts him with the Imperial state crown while the portrait of the Queen is by Paul Benny and shows her in her coronation dress.
