Does ANYONE buy this tat?
ReplyDelete(To answer my own question, I suppose some people must - or IGPC would do us all a favour, and just stop - but the phrase "more money than sense" can rarely be more fitting than to describe any completist who amasses a vast and costly collection of such 'stamps'.)
WK replying - Presumably someone does buy this rubbish or else IGPC would be losing money and would not continue to release the stuff. IGPC, Stamperija & similar entities rely, I guess, on a form of addiction, which ensures that there are collectors who can not resist items which they feel they simply must have in their collection. That aside, I imagine the ghastly Trump products may well interest Trump worshippers who will see them as souvenirs of what, for them, is a crowning moment of achievement for their hero. As long as there is a market for these products these ‘agencies’ will continue to sell them.
DeleteHello. I've tried the special subscription of a French philately magazine = the magazine + a dozen stamps each month.
ReplyDeleteThe stamps are by monthly topic from the countries listed here by our host.
Main clients maybe philatelic compagnies in need of cheap stamps as "gifts" or "discount" kiloware.
