🇨🇦 Canada Post issued 5 self-adhesive stamps in a booklet of 10 (2 x 5) on 8 October 2021 depicting the cartoons which were the work of notable Canadian newspaper editorial cartoonists. This fascinating issue was designed by Réjean Myette. Rating:- *****.
🇸🇬 Singapore Post will issue a spectacular ‘Collector’s sheet’ on 9 October 2021 which is a beautiful miniature sheet containing a single $10 stamp, the printing being carried out by Cartor in lithography with beads added to the sheet. The sheet is part of the ‘Heritage collection’ and depicts an exquisite table cover from Penang dating back to the 1920s. The cover was curated by the Singapore Peranakan Museum. The issue was designed by Ivory Seah and is perforated 13.5. Not surprisingly it is on sale at the premium price of $18.80c. Despite its excessive nature, premium price and impracticality as a postage stamp I love this item, as I do so many of Singapore Post’s delightful Collector’s sheets, and rate it *****.
