11 November 2026 - Remembrance, 25th anniversary of the start of the Afghanistan war - 6 x 1st Class postage rate stamps (3 vertically se-tenant pairs) only. Designed by Baxter and Baxter from artwork by Matthew Cook, a veteran of the Afghanistan and Iraq wars, and lithographed by Cartor and perforated 14.5. Total cost:- £10.80p. Rating:- *****.
A fine and worthwhile set, beautifully and tastefully illustrated and, in the absence of lots of other items, a real tribute rather than a money grabbing exercise. It would be nice if some of the proceeds from this set were donated to charities aiding ex-servicemen and women.
