πΉπ¬ Postal service of Togo? -
Numerous products all with a stated ‘date of issue’ of 4 May 2026. These are dubious products which may or may not be on sale in post offices in Togo and are currently being offered for sale on Delcampe by the dealer Aurescollections (with which readers of this blog will be familiar). These are almost certainly linked to the notorious Stamperija but unlike many of its products are designed to make them look like they may be used practically on any mail being sent in or from Togo. Many of the products are very expensive and as well as the basic ‘stamps’ there are numerous related miniature sheets, ‘proofs’ and other philatelic products. As always, Caveat emptor. Not all of these products are mentioned or illustrated here. Rating:- 0.
1. Endangered wildlife - 16 ‘stamps’ and other products.
Coastal wildlife - 11 ‘stamps’ and other products -
Small amphibians and reptiles - 12 ‘stamps’ and other products.
FIFA World Cup Championship finals, hosted in North America - 1 ‘stamp’ issued in a miniature sheet and other products.
Birds of prey - 4 ‘stamps’ issued in a mixed sheetlet of 16 and other products.

Another large batch of stamps from Stamperija's second production line.
ReplyDeleteStrange they only sell them through the notorious Aurescollections* and not on their website. The large new issue whole sale dealers also don't receive these from Stamperija as far as I know and the catalogue editors don't get the info on them. Wonder how, or if, they will be listed.
I have seen a few of these kind of issues at a stamp dealer once. The stamps are all small sized. About the same size as a Charles III definitive without the matrix code. I think idiots, sorry, collectors who buy these will be a little dissapointed when they receive them.
Also wonder if the Togolese people need so many different stamps of the same value. From what I know local rates are in the 200-500 francs range. But these stamps all start at a 1000...
*Who's location recently changed from Algeria to Dubai. Very dubious indeed...
