?2025 - Another surcharge on the previously issued Butterfly definitives (K960 on K60) which I have overlooked. Thanks to Anonymous for drawing my attention to this stamp.

Type 1: Birds K600/8t - K600/20t - K900/40t & Butterfly K900/K65 - K1280/K1. All surcharges are on bottom Right of stamps.
Type 2: K600/8t - K600/20t & K900/K65 come with surcharge in upper Right & K1280/K1 surcharge comes in upper Left side of stamp.

DeleteI don’t want to doubt the validity of the Samoan overprint but has it been seen postally used?
ReplyDeleteWK replying - One sees so very few modern stamps from virtually everywhere postally used that it is not surprising that, to the best of my knowledge, no-one has reported this stamp postally used. I haven’t seen any of the Malawi surcharges reported postally used either.I can only say an unused example of the Samoa surcharges has been on offer on a respectable dealer’s internet shop site.
