2463. 🇺🇸 IGPC Posts Illustrations Of Recent New Issues.

New Issues.

🇺🇸 IGPC (USA-based producer and purveyor of philatelic items with contracts with several Commonwealth postal services to produce such items on their behalf) -

It has been noted in some recent Blogs (see Blogs 2455 and 2429) that since June 2023, the number of products emanating from this company has been greatly reduced compared with past years. In the company’s recent monthly updates some new issues with the names of various territories printed on them have been described but not illustrated. In a revised ‘January 2024’ update, illustrations have now been added to most but not all of the previously mentioned issues and they are shown in this Blog -

 ðŸ‡¬ðŸ‡ Ghana

10 July 2023 - Butterflies - 2 miniature sheets.

10 July 2023 - The red river hog -

13 March 2023 - Coronation of King Charles III, Head of The Commonwealth - 2 miniature sheets (note that the designs of these stamps feature photographs taken at the coronation which took place almost 3 months after the stated date of issue!).

13 March 2023 - 70th anniversary of the Coronation of the late Queen Elizabeth II - 2 miniature sheets.

🇬🇩 Grenada

20 December 2023 - Caribbean flowers - 2 miniature sheets.

🇬🇾 Guyana -

30 October 2023 - Commemoration of Captain Roland DaSilva - 1 miniature sheet.

30 October 2023 - Fiftieth anniversary of CARICOM - 1 miniature sheet.

🇹🇨 Turks And Caicos Islands -

1March 2024 - Bicentenary of St Thomas’ Anglican Church, Grand Turk - 1 stamp and 1 miniature sheet. This is a revised date of issue and it means that there were no new issues from this territory during 2023 but that this becomes the territory’s first issues of 2024.

🇹🇻 Tuvalu

10 July 2023 - Coronation of King Charles III, King of Tuvalu - 2 miniature sheets.

  1. I have to say I have my doubts on the issue date of the Turks & Caicos issue.
IGPC gives as issue dates 1 march 2023 for the souvenir sheet and 1 march 2024 for the single stamp. I guess one date is a typo.
The stamp and sheet are on their november 2023 new issue list, which was uploaded in february 2024.
Is there another source for the (possible revised) issue date?

    1. WK - I enquired about this and currently IGPC is not taking orders for it - just placing on a “wish list” - because it is not yet available which rather suggests that the March 2024 date is the correct one.

    2. WK - On the other hand the actual year of the anniversary was 2023 but that may mean nothing more than someone decided a stamp should be issued and was rather late in getting around to producing & releasing it.

    3. WK again - Sorry, I didn’t answer your original question. So far the answer is no and I have tried to find a source of alternative information about the issue.
