New issues.

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ India Post -

21 April 2022 - Quatercentenary of Prakash Parab Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji who was executed in the orders of the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb “while supporting the religious freedom of Kashmiri pandits” - 1 stamp. Rating:- ****.

Paraphilatelic products.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Someone has been busy trying to cash in on the international sympathy for Ukraine by using the  personalised stamp sheetlets of various IGPC client or former client territories to produce, quickly and easily, ‘stamps’ demonstrating a pro-Ukraine theme. Collectors will ask themselves if these products are official stamp issues of the various client territories. Items have appeared on internet sites using the personalised sheetlets of the following philatelic entities:-

Grenada Carriacou And Petite Martinique:-

Fiji -

Guyana -

Ghana -

Similar products but commemorating Mahatma Gandhi and using personalised sheets with the names of the following countries printed on them:- Grenada Carriacou And Petite Martinique (in the form of 6 se-tenant strips of 5 different ‘stamps’), Fiji (7 se-tenant strips of 5 se-tenant strips), Guyana (1 in the same format as Fiji and another in the format of 4 se-tenant strips of 3 different ‘stamps’, the second and third stamps being separated from each other by labels), Dominica (in the same format as the second Guyana sheetlet), and Ghana (5 se-tenant strips of 5 different ‘stamps’) are also for sale on an internet auction site. Rating:- 0.

๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡น Meanwhile the name of Sierra Leone is reappearing on paraphilatelic items, almost certainly produced and marketed by Stamperija, in designs similar to those already used on products from various other territories which have been, and still appear to be, clients of the Lithuania-based ‘stamp agency’. Many of these products are ridiculously expensive and the wise collector may wish to spend their money on less dubious items for their collection.

25 March 2022 (stated date of issue though whether the items are actually on sale at post office counters in Sierra Leone is another question altogether) - Football World Cup Qualifiers, 2022 and postponement of African Cup of Nations because of the COVID-19 pandemic - 2 ‘stamps’ issued in sheetlets of 10 (5 vertically se-tenant pairs) and 2 single stamp miniature sheets. Rating:- 0.

25 March 2022 - Fight against COVID-19 and vaccination campaign - various products as illustrated below (including 2 booklets with Salpost logo). Rating:- 0.
