4 November 2025 - Christmas - 5 self-adhesive stamps from ordinary sheets (£10.67) and self-adhesive stamps from booklets of  4 x 1st Class domestic rate (£6.80), 4 x 2nd Class domestic rate (£3.48), 8 x Ist Class domestic rate (£13.60) and 8 x 2nd Class domestic rate (£6.96), 1 gummed miniature sheet containing all 5 stamps (£10.67) and 1 ‘Collectors sheet” containing 10 stamps (2 of each value - £22.54). Designed by Hat Trick Design and Paula Doherty (collectors sheet) and printed in gravure by Cartor and perforated 15 x 14.5. Rating:- ***.

  1. Royal Mail announced that Collector sheets will be 10-stamp from now rather than 20. But they need to be more exciting than that for people to buy them on impulse!

    1. I don’t see the purpose of Collector sheets (other than revenue raising). Those want a complete collection will buy them as they often contain stamps with differences but it essentially doubles the cost of already expensive sets and they are not the easiest to store either.

  2. The miniature sheet profoundly irritates me, due to the seeming illogicality of the order of the stamps.

    If the 'read' the story from left-to-right, and top-to-bottom, you have:
    Annunciation; Birth of Jesus; Mary & Joseph travelling to Bethlehem; Shepherds; Three Kings.

    (Ordering according to value - 2nd, 2nd Large, 1st, 1st Large, £3.40 - accurately depicts the Bible story.)
