New Zealand has a long history of these issues. For a small country then this is excellent promotion. Though New Zealand Post still celebrates lots of New Zealand specific achievements and events which I don't see Royal Mail doing as much of.
ReplyDeleteBelieving the Wikipedia article in English, the NZ Screen Production Grant subsidies the movie for 140 million NZ dollars: Are stamps a way to get that money back along tourism? Or do the NZ administrations put a condition to allow the use of the movie for commercial purposes (stamps, tourism)?
ReplyDeleteBut, on the other hand, NZ Post should care more on its stamp delivery service to post offices: for the second December in a row, some post offices doesn't receive enough international 'and local' stamps for Christmas time!
