The plight of the people of Ukraine is terrible enough without dubious ‘philatelic agencies’ trying to cash in on their struggle against the invading Russians by releasing philatelic products on the subject. Most will recognise by now that this is yet another cynical way of trying to make money for the agency rather than a message of support for the people of Ukraine. The odious Stamperija is currently pouring numerous tasteless products on to the new issue market in an attempt to profit from Ukraine’s distress and now the US-based IGPC has followed on with some products of its own which reflect that agency’s frequently displayed bad taste and gluttony for making money at others’ expense:-
