This excellent issue was designed by Chau so-Hing and lithographed by Cartor and the stamps are perforated 13.5. Rating:- *****.
๐ฌ๐ฎ Royal Gibraltar Post Office issued a set of 6 stamps all depicting Father Christmas and a miniature sheet containing all 6 stamps on 2 November 2021 to celebrate Christmas. The designs by Stephen Perera pfrom illustrations by ingimage.com are rather clichรฉd but cheerful enough. The issue was lithographed by Cartor. Rating:- **.
๐ฒ๐น MaltaPost issued a miniature sheet containing a single stamp on 1 November 2021 to commemorate the Centenary of the Maltese Senate which was established as part of the process of achieving self-government for the island in 1921. This historic anniversary is commemorated by an attractive issue. The item was designed by MaltaPost plc. Rating:- ****.
๐ฌ๐ง The designs of the 2021 Christmas stamps from Royal Mail have been illustrated in a previous Blog but I now illustrate them again in better quality illustrations along with the other items that make up the issue which was released on 2 November 2021. The issue is therefore made up of 8 stamps (4 with and 4 without barcode) (total set face value being £9.52), 2 stamps from individual booklets of 12, 1 miniature sheet (£9.52) and 1 Collectors sheet (priced at £21.75p) containing 20 stamps with attached labels. The issue was designed by Supple Studio and printed in photogravure by International Security Printers. The barcoded stamps are perforated 15 x 14.5 while the nonbarcoded stamps are perforated 14.5 x 15. Rating:- ****.
