13 October 2022 - Centenary of the creation of the Irish Free State - 1 stamp. Design depicts corncrakes emerging from a long meadow symbolising “the ideal of freedom and new beginnings”. Designed by Ger Garland from an illustration by Brian Gallagher and lithographed by Enschedé and perforated 14. Rating:- *****.
