🇺🇸 IGPC -
Linn’s Stamp News reported in a tweet and in an article that the American producer and seller of philatelic items, the New York-based IGPC, was forced to redesign one of its miniature sheets (with the name of Tuvalu inscribed on it) which was intended to commemorate the late Queen Elizabeth II, because the inscription on it was incorrect - Her Majesty’s birthday was shown as being 18 April 1926 instead of the correct date of 21 April
Fortunately the error was identified and apparently corrected prior to production though it would have been interesting to see both versions of the item doing the rounds similarly to the notorious and incredible IGPC products - the hilariously awful King Edward XIII miniature sheets released in the name of Guyana in 2012 to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the succession of King Edward VIII.
