Answer - Not hard at all.
This set of 4 stamps depicting Labrador retrievers was created using AI in about 10 minutes.
Surely these are better than the recent set of Royal Mail Castles stamps. If RM wants me to provide it with future stamp designs, Gemini and I are standing by. Oh yes! For a nice juicy fee please.

"How hard is it to design an appealing set of postage stamps in 2026?" I guess that depends on who you're designing stamps for. I really like the Castles miniature sheet and think RM missed a trick by not issuing them as regular sheet stamps. In fact the entire Castles set should have been just those four stamps.
ReplyDeleteI agree. There is a big difference between design and selecting photos.
DeleteYou do prove that attractive stamp designs are not that hard to achieve. I would buy this set ! What is wrong with philatelic designers in modern times. So much now is bald, excessive issues and more expensive than reasonable. Stamp collecting was so much more fun growing up.

I admire your fake Labrador stamps. Most convincing. Could you do a set of Canvey Island stamps celebrating pretty actresses in bathing costumes...? On a serious note I think stamps are more interesting now if they have actually been used on post.
