Duran Duran were based in Birmingham so they do qualify as a British Musical Great band
ReplyDeleteAs a citizen of Birmingham myself I am pleased to see the band commemorated & I quite liked some of their music but I do not see the band as being in the first rank of ‘British musical greats’.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see that Andy Taylor hasn't been entirely airbrushed from history, even though the issue is virtually an advertorial for the current foursome.
