5 May 2024 - Butterflies of Myanmar, part 4, the Painted Jezebel - 1 stamp. Designed by Cho San Lin and Ahmonoo and lithographed by Security Printing Works (Myanmar) and perforated 14. Rating:- *****.
🇵🇬 Post PNG (postal service of Papua New Guinea)
Rather unconvincingly I think Post PNG has published on its website a revised programme of 2023 stamp issues, none of which to the best of my knowledge, have appeared for sale anywhere and about which the website gives no details nor illustrations of the various issues. Regardless, I report the list here as, who knows?, they may suddenly appear.
Even odder is a 2024 list which is very busy indeed and so it will be interesting to see if Post PNG is equal to the task of issuing all of these items. If it does then PNG collectors are likely to be in for a very expensive time indeed.
