🇮🇳 India Post issued a set of 12 stamps, each printed in individual sheetlets, and 1 miniature sheet containing all 12 stamps on 18 December 2019 on the subject of Indian embroideries. A very attractive and colourful set. Rating:- ****.
In Blog 1567 I outlined a list of India Post My Stamp issues up to the end of 2019 but I did not have illustrations for all featured issues. I now depict below the issues which were not illustrated. There may be some distortion in some of the illustrations making the stamps look more square-shaped, rather than rectangular, than they actually are.
2019 - 150th anniversary of Kolkata Port Trust - 1 stamp
2019 - 25th anniversary of CBRE (real estate and investments company) - 1 stamp
2019 - Convocation of Indian Institute Of Technology, Delhi - 1 stamp
2019 - Apollo Hospital blood donation- 1 stamp
2019 - 50th International Film Festival Of India - 1 stamp
2019 - Tourism in Uttar Pradesh - Deepotsay, Avodhya - 1 stamp
20 December 2019 - Centenary of Assocham - 1 stamp
2019 - 40th anniversary of Indian ITME Society - 1 stamp
2019 - 150th Birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha- 1 stamp
🇬🇲 In addition to the numerous items recently listed in Blog 1565 which have been released by the US philatelic agency, IGPC, there are 2 miniature sheets, one containing a single stamp and the other containing 3 different stamps, released with the name of The Gambia printed on them on the subject of the Mantis. No date of issue has been specified.rating:- 0.
🇬🇧 Of course, for detailed and indispensable information of new issues from Royal Mail, Ian Billings’ Norvic Philatelic Blog site is the only internet site that one really needs to visit. His coverage of the never-ending developments surrounding the eternal Machin Head definitive series is second-to-none. There seems little point in spending vast amounts of money on paper stamp catalogues when everything one could possibly need to know can be found in the continuing flow of information from Norvic Philatelics and all provided free to its many readers.
Therefore just for completeness of coverage of as many Commonwealth new issues as possible, about which one can track down news and fully in the knowledge that Nordic Philatelics has already provided this information in great depth, I simply list this year’s Machin Head definitives without expanding in detail on this simple list of these issues which I have added to my collection this year.
