30 January 2025 - The Royal Armouries (this expensive issue does not seem to be related to any particular event or anniversary) - 8 stamps (4 se-tenant pairs) costing £12.60p, 1 miniature sheet containing 4 different stamps (£6.60) and 1 Prestige booklet costing £23.85p) and containing 4 panes including 1 pane which is made up of King Charles III definitives (2 x 50p and 2 x £1). Designed by Charlie Smith Design and lithographed by Cartor and perforated 14.5 x 14. Rating:- **.
An attractive issue but there seems no reason for it to be issued.
30 years since it main museum opened in Leeds

WK - Thank you. So we could say that this is a 30+/-1 anniversary or perhaps an all important 29th anniversary.
DeleteWell the Royal Mail are not exactly accurate with anniversary dates. The Vicar of Dibley 1st series aired in 1994. So we are commemorating the 31st Anniversary of the BBC sitcom.
