As these are supposed to be definitives I presume that they will have a life of about 3 - 5 years and, at some stage, will need to be reprinted which might be the time when the postal authority chooses to correct the spelling error.<br />White Knighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17968199477827266643noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2005756131065514338.post-89246209669238859382015-10-31T10:43:49.185+00:002015-10-31T10:43:49.185+00:00After reading your post 647, I placed online order...After reading your post 647, I placed online order not only for stamps but also the First Day Cover. They have arrived earlier this week. One set of the 10 stamps are affixed on 2 FDCs. The front of FDC correctly prints Celebrating the 75th "Anniversary" of the First Stamp Issue, 1940 - 2015; the stamps on the FDC are indeed misspelt. I am sure by now the postal authority has discovered the spelling error in the stamps, but not to revoke or replace probably due to cost concerns.west6https://www.blogger.com/profile/03885916586967435230noreply@blogger.com
