I do however have a 120 of the First Day Covers of the 1996 Christmas issue which never went or were distributed by the MCP. My main question is should I add all 120 on ebay or will there be a private collector willing to buy all 120 FDCs from me. Any thought on this.
eric2voss@yahoo.co.ukAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12945971215894645747noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2005756131065514338.post-32614860828434906742012-11-12T21:23:09.564+00:002012-11-12T21:23:09.564+00:00I am the seller of the 1998 Malawi Christmas stamp...I am the seller of the 1998 Malawi Christmas stamps issue (Malawi1996) and like to confirm that now I have my last set of this rare issue on ebay (12 Nov) I bought these back just after the malawi philatelic bureau went bust due to lack of funds. A 3rd pair of these stamps was sold on ebay yesterday by malawi 1996 and the item again made well over £100. It will be interesting to see how many more of these stamps are offered for sale by that seller in the next few weeks.White Knighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17968199477827266643noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2005756131065514338.post-19901485394034588042012-08-30T01:44:07.004+00:002012-08-30T01:44:07.004+00:00Regarding the Malawi christmas issue. IF the Ebay sellers identify themselves as silicoin or Malawi 1966 then yes, you should be careful as more sets are bound to appear from them.
The two sellers did the same with the second Malawi butterfly definitive issue (printed by Security printers of India).Over a period of six months they posted single sets, pairs, blocks of four and fdc's. I remember the first block of four selling for US$ 136.00. The single sets sold for anywhere from $24 to $35.

NazirAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08050594171297501361noreply@blogger.com
